Colours is a fast-paced game for deft fingers in which you'll have to help your protagonist, Ana, create as many color combinations as possible before time runs out, all with the sole aim of getting your name to the top of the world rankings. The faster you move, the better your chance of getting yourself listed among the five best players in the world.
To start the game, you'll first have to decide which mode you want: collecting points or turning off the lights. If you choose the first option, you'll see a panel with twelve buttons that you'll have to press in order to make colors appear, and the more colors you can get to match up, the higher your reward. Once they're matched, they'll disappear to make way for new colors that you can collect, all at a very quick pace.
The 'turn off the lights' mode uses a very similar panel, only the buttons will turn the lights off. If you wait a little while, they will slowly turn back on, and with some patience, you'll be able to make combinations. But you'll have to be quick to avoid all the lights turning on and the game ending.
In both modes, you'll have to be aware of the time, which is always working against you, but hopefully with a bit of luck you can find items that will help you gain a few seconds and improve your score. Although Colours is full of color, as its name indicates, it's also a perfectly accessible app even for the colorblind because the colors have been designed so that they can be distinguished by anyone.
